Our Recruitment Process

1. Demand Letter from Employer

The process begins when an overseas employer contacts the agency with a demand letter. This document outlines the job description, number of workers needed, salary details, accommodation, food allowances, air ticket provisions, and the expected job start date. It also includes terms and conditions, which must be attested by the Chamber of Commerce and the Nepal Embassy in the employing country to comply with legal requirements.

2. Obtaining Pre-Approval

The agency submits the demand letter and other legal documents (e.g., Power of Attorney, Contract Agreement) to the Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) in Nepal for pre-approval. This ensures compliance with Nepal’s foreign employment regulations.

3. Advertisement and Sourcing Candidates

Once approved, the agency advertises the job openings through national newspapers or online platforms to attract candidates. Agencies like Landmark Manpower Solution and Wise International Nepal utilize digital tools to reach a broader audience. They may also tap into their database of candidates or work with sourcing partners to identify potential workers.

4. Pre-Screening and Selection

Candidates are pre-screened based on the employer’s requirements, which may include skills, experience, and qualifications. Agencies conduct initial interviews and sometimes skill or trade tests, especially for technical roles. For example, World Net Recruitment Consultant conducts skill and trade tests post-training to ensure candidates meet industry standards.

5. Final Interview by Employer

Shortlisted candidates undergo a final interview, often conducted by the employer’s representative, either in person or virtually. Only those who pass the pre-screening stage proceed to this step.

6. Medical Checkups and Documentation

Selected candidates undergo mandatory medical examinations at government-authorized clinics to ensure they are fit for work. This is followed by vaccinations and visa processing. Agencies assist with emigration procedures, including obtaining visas from the relevant embassy and ensuring all paperwork is complete.

7. Orientation and Training

Before departure, candidates attend orientation classes to learn about their job responsibilities, the working environment, and the culture and labor laws of the destination country. Some agencies, like Susan Poly-Technical (affiliated with World Net Recruitment), provide additional training to enhance technical skills.

8. Final Approval and Travel Arrangements

After orientation, the agency secures final approval from the DoFE. Travel arrangements, including flight bookings, are coordinated, often through partnered travel agencies.

9. Follow-Up and Support

Reputable agencies, such as Landmark Manpower Solution, maintain follow-up services to ensure candidate satisfaction and employer expectations are met post-placement. This includes addressing any issues that arise during the employment period.
